Follow your compressor manufacturer's duty-cycle rating, maximum run times, cooling requirements, and operating instructions. Some compressors are rated for a 50% duty cycle; ratings and cycle periods vary. A 50% rating generally requires at least as much motor-off time as motor-running time within the specified period.
Measure motor runtime during recovery and include any motor runtime during the blowout. Recharge is not motor-off cooling time. Allow additional cooling after recharge; extra rest between passes does not replace adequate cooling between zone runs.
Remain present during runs, pauses, and recovery periods. Fire, overheating, electrical faults, or equipment failures can occur. If a problem occurs, stop using the equipment and shut it down safely according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Use a suitable air regulator and follow the winterization instructions and pressure limits for your compressor, irrigation components, and backflow equipment. This app does not control air pressure, verify valve closure, detect dry zones, or confirm that winterization is complete.
Disable normal irrigation schedules before starting. Stop affects all watering on the selected controller. Closing the page does not immediately stop an active timed run. Browser wake lock and internet access are not guarantees that commands will be delivered.
